Pet behavioral problems can be dangerous, frustrating and damaging. They can negatively impact both the human and animal's quality of life and often leads to pet relinquishment. The Animal Behavior Clinic addresses canine and feline pet behavioral problems such as:

The Animal Behavior Clinic provides consultations for canine and feline behavioral problems. Consultations with the pet(s) and owner(s) generally last 1-2 hours and involve collecting historical information, observing the pet(s), establishing a diagnosis and outlining a treatment plan. When appropriate, diagnostic testing will be recommended. If indicated by the diagnosis, drug therapy may be a component of the treatment program. Three months of email or phone follow-up is included with the consultation fee.
Both office and home visits are offered. Home visits must be within a 15-mile radius of downtown Portland and an additional travel fee is applied to home visits. Home visits are strongly recommended for feline patients.
